Art is more than painting

For one year, 25 pupils of the profile class “Art, Culture and Media” of the Brüder-Grimm-Schule Hamburg (grade 9) dealt with the collections of the MK&G. Together with teacher Steffen Biewald and accompanied by Manuela van Rossem, they elaborated themes and found their own very different approaches to the objects. With the help of communication designer Christoph Lohse, they developed a web magazine under kunst-ist-mehr-als-malen.mkg-hamburg.de with the kind support of the Alfred Töpfer Stiftung F.V.S. and the Veronika and Volker Putz Foundation.
