The MK&G is looking for Hamburg’s most innovative canteen as part of the exhibition “Food Revolution 5.0”. A four-member jury, including the head of the magazine “essen&trinken”, Claudia Muir, and the inventor of the “Hamburg Kochsalon”, Christian Wrenkh, selected six finalists among the applicants. Criteria for the selection were: creative cooking concepts, feel-good atmosphere, inspired staff and / or social commitment. The canteens, who finally made it into the selection for the visitors’ voting, usually fulfill several criteria. In a wall-filling installation, the finalists present themselves to the exhibition visitors. In the end, the canteen with the most ice spoons wins!
