Inspired by the exhibition “Out to Sea? The Plastic Garbage Project”, Hamburg students of grades 7-13 were asked to submit staged or documentary photos on plastic waste. The motto of the competition, initiated by the district school of Stellingen: “Plastik. Sucht. Motiv.” The best 50 were selected by a jury and awarded and exhibited in the MK&G. This was the beginning of the Photography Competition series “Sucht. Motiv.” for Hamburg students.
